Tell me more about the $8,000 First-Time Homebuyer or $6,500 Current Homeowner Tax Credit!!
A tax credit of up to $8,000 is now available for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence on or after January 1, 2009 and before April 30, 2010. Unlike the tax credit enacted in 2008, the new credit does not have to be repaid. Buyers may not have owned a home for the past three years to qualify as "first-time" buyers. This tax credit originally was to end on November 30, 2009, but on November 6, 2009, the program was extended until April 30, 2010. In the tax credit extension legislation of November 6th, a $6,500 tax credit will also be available for current homeowners, and the income limits were also raised. For more information, click here. Let us tell you all about it and help you find your dream home! Contact any of our Sales Associates directly or complete and submit the below information and we'll contact you ASAP.
